Dear Marla,
Metaphorically speaking, I had a 'conversation' with Hevea last night.
.
I asked her: "What do you want?"
Her response was, as always, for me to be "100% enclosed in latex, 100% of the time".
"Are you aware that this is impossible in the real world," I asked her? "Human skin needs air, daylight and bathing now and then. There are also social obligations and things like visits to the dentist, the grocery store, etc. One cannot be in latex for those."
She pondered this this thoughtfully, smiled (metaphorically), and asked, "What if we modified that mantra to read: the equivalent of 100% enclosure, the equivalent of 100% of the time?"
"What does that do?" I asked.
My fetish replied, "This gives you the versatility you need to deal with exceptions. Now you can make use of layers, ordeals and other ideas we have not dreamed up yet to compensate for time lost while bathing, shopping, etc."
"What do you mean," I asked.
"ok, suppose you are going to spend an entire day with your mother in Ohio. Naturally, you will not wear a speck of latex then. (She doesn't know....) You would fall 24 hours short on your "100% of the time" quota. You'd 'owe' me 24 hours of Deep Rubber time. What things could you do to 'earn' 24 extra hours to pay me back?"
"Oh! You mean like wear an extra suit all day long? Layers are nice. "
"If one is good, then two must be better, right?" She asked mirthfully. "But let's be aware that the impact of putting on the second suit is not nearly as satisfying as the first one. We will say that the second suit has only 50% of the overall impact on you."
The metaphorical Hevea let that sink in. "So, to get yourself back on top of your quota, for the day you owe me, you would need to wear two layered, 100% coverage suits for two days to wipe out your deficit."
She replied, "Yes, that's the idea. It also opens the door to using BDSM Ordeals to earn hours. We could say that 1/2 hour in a full hogtie, which is a rather strenuous Ordeal, might be the equivalent to 2 hours of 100% latex enclosure."
She continued. "What we need is some sort of bookkeeping system to keep track of this.
